On Frday Aug 23 theCarpet One Tykes travelled to Bancroft only to lose 13-0 . On Sat in a nail bitter they fell 3-2 to PEC , scoring for Belleville was Griffin Leveque and Joe Bardwell , helpers went to Brett Foley, Tessa Rushlow, Mack Morrish and Riley St Pierre . Sun was a repeat , losing 4-3 to Nappanee . With 8 min left in the game and down 4-1 , Belleville came with one goal to tie it . Scoring was Damian Hallam, Mack Morrish and Ben Duvall . Assisting , Dakota De Genova , Ben Duvall , Damian Hallam and Joe Bardwell .

The Mix 97 / Cogeco Novice A Jr. Bulls had a weekend off from Lakeshore A league play. They travelled to Brockville for an exhibition against the Braves, who provided the Jr. Bulls with their stiffest competition to date. Trailing 8-6 late in the game, Belleville scored twice in tne last 5:40 to tie the game and them emerged with the victory with 0:26 remaining in overtime. Willie Richards led the way with a hat trick, while Landon McLellan picked up two goals. Bryce Rose, Eric Conlon, Josh Verbeek each picked up single markers in regulation, and Daniel Panetta picked up the winner in overtime. Assists were awarded to Paneta (2), Conlon, Rose, and Zach Uens. Jackson Bonn survived a few rough patches in net to make some solid saves late in the game, giving the team a chance to tie and eventually win. Zach Uens received the "Taking the Bull by the Horns" award for his hard play.

The Steinburg Dental Centre Novice AE Bulls split a pair of weekend games. On Saturday the Bulls defeated Ajax by a 5-3 score. The goal scorers were Will Smith with 3, and singles to Mackinley Boomhower and Austin Morgan. Excellent goaltending was provided by Mark Rosatte. On Sunday a good team effort was put forth in a loss to Whitby by a score 6-0.Another great goaltending performance by Ben Orr-McCausland kept the score close. The Bulls are in for another busy weekend coming up with 2 home games.

The Four Seasons Sports Belleville Jr. Bulls, along with seven other teams from the Ottawa and Toronto area,played in the KingstonRepTournament this past weekend. The players faced toughcompetition in every game, but the team played withskill, heart and determination throughout the tournament. In round robin play theteam wasundefeated winning 3-2over Stittsville, followed by a 3-1 win over Milton and a 2-2 tie with Orleans. In the semi-final matchthe Jr. Bulls faced a very strong Gloucester team. The game was aback and forth match, with both teams working hard on offence and defence. In the end Gloucesterwon 2-1. Strong goaltending was provided by Ryan Rushlow and Isaac Bridges in all four games. Goal scorers were Angelo Brown, Will Bardwell, Braydan Forestell, Ryan Milligan, Parker Brown, Cole St. Pierre and Owen Dever. Assists went to Bardwell, Forestell, Ben Trumpour, Mark Mulder, A. Brown, Dever, St. Pierre, and Graeme Smith."

The Parkside Landscaping Major Atom A teambrought home the championship hardwarefrom the Kingston tournamentover the weekend.Six games in all were played by the Jr. Bulls with their first and last game against Quinte West. The Bulls won the final 2-1 on a goal by Cam Hale-Sanders with 43.9 secondsleft on the clock just moments afterBulls goaltender Alex Van Rooystood tall stopping a penalty shot with 1:35 left in the 1-1 game. Josh Lovetied the game at the end of the second period starting the dramatic comeback for the Bulls.

Game 1vs Quinte West, win 6-3. Goals by Nick Bartlett (2), Wyatt Brennan, JoshLove, Jake Hale-Sanders, and Riley McMillan.

Game 2 vs Stittsville, win 4-0. McMillan (2),Cam Hale-Sanders, and Love. Recording the shut out was Van Rooy and Blake Freitag.

Game 3 vs Ottawa Sting, tie 1-1. Single goal by Cole King.The Bullsoutplayed the Stings but couldn't solve the goalie.

Game 4 vs East Gwillimbury Eagles, win 7-1. Goals by Spencer Stone (2), Bartlett, Spencer Goodfellow, Jake Hale-Sanders (2) and McMillan.

Game 5 vs Stittsville, winning the semi-finals 5-2, Goals byJordy Grigoriou, Jack Belanger, Jake Hale- Sanders, McMillan and Brennan.

Assisting in the tournament scoring was Rylan Levean, Ben Smith, Mitch Whitley, and Colin Taugher.

Belleville Bulls Minor Atom AE Ray Bros. Construction team played in Oshawa on Oct 21/09. Although a great game was played, the boys lost 5-1 with goal scored by Nickolas Rittwage, assisted by Tyler Gordon.

Belleville Bulls Minor Atom AE Ray Bros. Construction team played in Ajax on Sunday Oct 25th and suffered a close loss with a score of 4-2. Goals scored by Brady Potter and Joshua Henderson, assists going to Joshua Henderson, Kaylen McCormack and Tyler Gordon.

It was a busy but great week for the Peter Smith Chev Olds Pee WeeMajorJr. Bulls.The team started Wednesday with a 2-2 tie against Kingston getting goals from Daniel Aldrick from Jeff Hoey andanother goal by Jordan Guindon from Aaron Milligan.Austin Lalonde looked after goaltending duties on this night.On Saturday the Jr. Bulls played Quinte West and battled well coming out on top with a 3-1 victory.The Peter Smith Chev Olds Bulls got goals from Liam Bailey-McDade with two and a single marker from Jeff Hoey.Hoey also added two assists whileShaemus Addy ,Daniel Aldrick and Liam Bailey-McDade had single helpers . Brock Tufts was at his best during this game in net.To close out on Sunday the Bulls went on the road anddefeated the Clarington Toros 4-2.Liam Bailey-McDade,Jeff Hoey,NoahSager and Bradley Soule took care of the scoring while assists went to CJ Fox,Brady Sagriff-Martin,Bradley Chapman and Logan Elliot.Austin Lalonde was steady in net for the Bulls once again.

First on Site Restoration Minor Peewee AE Jr Bulls travelled this past weekend to a tournament in Stirling. The Bulls opened on Friday with a 6-2 win over Stirling. Goals – Jonathan Mc Donald (2), Will Keneford (2), Logan Foeller, Evan Hoecht. Assists – Foeller, Keneford, Hoecht, Riley Bonin (2), Evan Foley, Tristan Cowan, Joe Clarey and Max Mercer. Jonathan McDonald named game MVP. An amazing late third period comeback on Saturday resulted in a 4-3 Belleville win over a tough Huntsville club. Goals – Declan Cross (2),Evan Hoecht, Will Keneford. Assists – Cross, Hoecht, Damon Fair (2), Reilly Connell and Evan Foley. Declan Cross named game MVP. Final round robin game resulted in a 5-1 Belleville win over rival Napanee. Goals –Reilly Connell (2), Logan Foeller (2), Evan Hoecht. Assists –Evan Foley (2),Tristan Cowan, Jonathan LaMorre, Declan Cross, Will Keneford, Riley Bonin. Reilly Connell named game MVP. This qualified Belleville for the finals where they suffered a tough 7-0 defeat to Georgina. Zak Kelly named game MVP. Evan Hill and Zak Kelly shared net duties over the weekend. Kelly and Hill were a huge part of team success.

The Tal Trees Minor Peewee A traveled to Uxbridge Sunday for their lone game of the weekand came away with a 4-4 tie. Goals: Cam Clarke(3), Jack Goerke. Assists: Shaw Boomhower (2), Jake Love (2), Jordan Stanfield, Justin Lewis,Matt Bennett, Brendan Fredericks. Goalie: Brock Prescott.

The Wilson Sports Belleville Bantam Major A Junior Bullsplayed twice this weekend,splitting there games. On Saturday they lost 3-2 to the Ajax Knights. Joey Thompson scored both Belleville goals with assists going to Connor Cassidy(2) and Tyler Botting. Danny Manning was between the pipes with a steady effort.On Sunday evening the Bulls skated away with a 3-1 victory over the Clarington Toros. Scoring for the Bulls were Cassidy, Evan Cleave and Colin Moore. Assists went to Thompson, Jack Garrow, Wade Little, Garrett Sherry, Jimmy Hamilton and Patrick Gogarty. Eric Wells was between the pipes with an excellent effort.

The Carpet One Major Bantam AE Jr. Bulls won 6-3 versus Uxbridge Saturday Night.Scoring for Belleville were Mike Evans (2), Connor Stone (2), Luc Lentini and Joshua Leadbeater, with an assists going to Cameron Bell (3), Connor Stone, Joshua Leadbeater, Nick Eliopoulos, and Patrick Shannon. Corey McMurter played a solid game in net.
The Carpet One Major Bantam AE Jr. Bulls lost 3-2 at the Memorial Arena
Sunday night against Oshawa. Scoring for Belleville was Brennan Chesterton and Mike Evans, with assists going to Joshua Leadbeater (2), Patrick Shannon and Connor Stone. Riley Sampson played a stellar game in net.

The McDougall Insurance Midget Minor A team finished the week 2-1 after games against Oshawa, Whitby and Kingston. The team defeated Oshawa 5-1 in Oshawa Wednesday night with goals by Conrad Charlton (2), Mitchell Smith, Greg Massicotte and Devin McCann. Assists by Cole Larsen (2), Cullen McGrath, Shawn Dinnery-Peeling and Smith. Nick Nunn was in net for the win. Saturday saw the second place Bulls take on first place Whitby at home in a close fought battle, losing 1-0. Brodie McGinnis gave a superb effort in net. Sunday the Bulls were home to Kingston winning 8-0, with Nunn getting the shut-out. Scoring for Belleville were TJ McAlarey (4), Jared Boomhower, Smith, McGrath and McCann. Assisting were Derek Stoliker (2), Massicotte (2), Mitch Goodfellow, Paul Buckley, Dakota Mahar and Dinnery-Peeling.
