Novice

 

The Steinburg Dentist Novice AE team played 2 excellent games over the weekend.  They lost a nail-bitter while on the road in Oshawa, the score was 8-6. Top goal scorers for this game were; Will Smith and Mac Boomhour with 2 goals a piece, while Zack Goodfellow and Chris Keller each chipped in a goal.  Assists came from Austin Boyd, Blake Bush and Aaron Yuan.  The Jr. Bulls lost 7-2 against Whitby while playing at home on Sunday.  Goal scorers were Jaden Mott and Will Smith, assists came from Rhys Lawday, Cole McCambridge, Chris Keller and Zack Goodfellow.  The Jr. Bulls will hit the road next weekend to play their final regular season game in Port Perry.

 

Atom

On Wednesday 20 Jan/10 Ray Bros Construction Minor Atom AE Jr Bulls hosted Ajax in game 2 of playoffs defeating the hometeam 3-2.  Goals scored by Carson Waite, Patrick French, and Nickolas Rittwage.  Assists to Brady Potter, KaylenMcCormack, Josh Henderson, Gavin McQuaid, and Carson Waite.
On Saturday 23 Jan/10 Ray Bros Construction Minor Atom AE Jr Bulls team defeated Ajax at home in game 3 of playoffs andsealed a position in the next round winning 2-1.  Goals scored by Tyler Gordon and Carson Waite.  Assists by Ethan Prince, Campbell Fair and Kaylen McCormack.

The Parkside Landscaping Major Atom A Jr. Bulls won 2-1 against the Clarington Toros in game 3 of the best of 5 playoff series.  The Bulls were much more dominant than the score indicates as Belleville outshot Clarington by a significant margin. There was a 2-0 lead until Clarington scored with a minute left in the game to make for an exciting finish.  Scoring for the Bulls was Rylan Leavean and Riley MacMillan with assists going to Jordy Grigoriou, Ben Smith, and Spencer Goodfellow.  Alex Van Rooy was in the net.  In their away game at Clarington, the Jr. Bulls won 2-1 to clinch the first round of the playoffs.  Jake Hale-Sanders scored an unassisted goal.  In the third period on the power play was the game winning goal by Jordy Grigoriou. Assists went to Wyatt Brennan and Cole King.  Blake Freitag made some key saves down the stretch to seal the win.

 

PeeWee

The First On Site Restoration Minor Peewee AE Junior Bulls played a single game this past weekend. In one of the most exciting games of the year the Jr Bulls came up short on a 2-1 decision to Pickering. This gave Pickering the win in the 5 games series. Lone goal scored by Evan Foley with the lone assist going to Damon Fair. Zak Kelly was solid in net. The Jr Bulls begin a 5 game series with Oshawa this weekend.

 

Tal Trees Minor Peewee A dropped the third  consecutive game to a tough Uxbridge team 5-2. Scoring went to Josh Burelle and Shaw Boomhower, with assists to Jack Georke, Matt Bennett, Josh Burelle and Shaw Boomhower. Brock Prescott was in net.
 

Bantam

The Wilsons Sports Bantam Major Jr. Bulls move into the second round of the playoffs after defeating the peske Pickering Panthers. The Bulls travelled to Pickering and skated away with a 3-1 victory with Tyler Botting scoring the winning goal. Botting was set up by Kyle Foley. Belleville's first goal was scored by Joey Thompson from Colin Moore to tie the game. Jarrod Pulver finished the scoring with an unassisted goal half way through the third period. Eric Wells was stellar in net.

The Bulls will play the Whitby Wild Cats in the next round.
