The Carpet One Tyke Major Jr Bulls were on the road Saturday to take part in the Campbellford Colts 2010 Novice AE tournament. The Tykes prevailed in their first game against the Baltimmore Bull Dogs winning 4-3 , after

3 on 3 overtime and a shoot-out. Goals were scored by Brett Foley, Damian Hallam, Ethan Parliment and Griffin Leveque notching the shoot out goal for the win. Helpers went to Joe Bardwell, Dakota DeGenova, and Riley St. Pierre. Sharing the net for the victory with outstanding saves were Scott Fleming and Ethan Fraser..

The Tykes then met with Centre Hastings Grizzlies for game two for a close match but lost with a score of 3-2. Notching both goals for the Tykes was Riley St Pierre, with helpers provided by Cayde Culhane and Ethan Parliment. Awsome displays in the net from Ethan Fraser and Scott Fleming .

The Jr Bulls then played the Port Hope Predators for thefinaland put up a good fight before falling to Port Hope with a score of 2-1. Scoring for theTykes with an unassisted goal was Riley St Pierre. Scott Fleming and Ethan Fraser were credited for keeping the tight spread on the scoreboard in all three games. Congradulations to Griffin Leveque for earning the Tournaments MVP Award for the team. Excellent hustle, defence,offense, pressure and team work was demonstrated in the tournamentfrom all the players of the Carpet One Tykes, Members of the Team: Ethan Fraser, Scott Fleming, Kellen Irwin, Kaeden Hoecht, Mack Morrish, Tessa Rushlow, Joe Bardwell, Dakota De Genova, Griffin Leveque, Brett Foley, Damian Hallam, Cayde Culhane, Ethan Parliment, Katie McNair, Mathew Visser, Ben Duval and Riley St Pierre.

Sunday the Carpet One Tyke Major Jr Bulls travelled to Wellington for their final regular season game with the Peci Kings. It was give and take through the whole game but the Tykes lost 5-4. Scoring for the Jr Bulls were Mack Morrish, Griffin Leveque, Dakota De Genova and Ethan Parliment. In the net for the Bulls sharing the duties were Ethan Fraser and Scott Fleming.

The Four Seasons Sports Minor Atom 'A' team had a successful start to their OMHA playoffs withtwo wins over Oshawa.The games won withidentical scores of 7-1 with all players exhibiting great hustle, hard work and team play. Ryan Rushlow provided solid goaltending in both games. Goal scorers were Theo Citullo, Rorey Kehoe, Ryan Milligan, Braydan Forestell, Cole St. Pierre, Owen Dever and Regan Fleming. Assists were earned by Milligan, St. Pierre, Angelo Brown, Will Bardwell, Mark Mulder, Ben Trumpour, Fleming, Citullo and Devin Roach.

On Saturday 9 Jan/10 The Ray Bros Construction Minor Atom AE Jr Bulls team met in Peterborough suffering a tough defeat
5-1. Goal scored by Carson Waite, assisted by Campbell Fair. Superb performance by Aiden Brownlee in net highlited
with an amazing glove save!

The Parkside Landscaping Major Atom A team lost 2-1 in a close game against the Clarington Toros. The Jr. Bulls out shot Clarington but were unable to find the back of the net to tie the game. Mitch Whitley scored the lone goal for the Bulls and Blake Freitag minded net.

Tal Trees Minor Peewee A closed out their regular season with a 12-1 win in Kingston. In net was Nick Boutilier. Goals: Tristan Nugent (3), Jake Love (2), Cam Clarke, Dylan Blake, Jake London, Brendan Fredericks, Shaw Boomhower, Josh Burelle, and Jack Georke. Assists: Cam Clarke (2), Dylan Blake(2), Tristan Nugent (2), Jake Love (2), Matt Bennett (2), Brendan Fredericks(2), Brayden White(2), Jack Georke.

The First On Site Restoration Minor Peewee AE Junior Bulls wrapped up the regular season this past weekend with one game, in Pickering. In a tightly fought affair the Jr Bulls came out with a 1-1 tie. Lone goal scored by Johnathan McDonald, assists to Declan Cross and Evan Hoecht. Evan Hill was strong in net to preserve the tie. The Junior Bulls face Pickering in the first round of the playoffs

The Wilson Sports BantamJr. A Bulls played their final regular season game on Thursday evening against Pickering. The Bulls and the Panthers played to a 2-2 tie.Bulls goals were scored by Tyler Botting from Joey Thompson and Drew Scott and Wade Little from Colin Moore and Patrick Fair. Danny Manning was solid in net.

On the weekend the Bulls competed in the Aurora Tournament going 1-1-1.

In the first game the boys seemed tentative and shaky, losing to Aurora 5-2. Bulls goals were scored by Connor Cassidy and Wade Little, with assists going to Little, Colin Moore and Jarrod Pulver. Eric Wells was between the pipes.

In our second game against Thorold the boys played a defensive game tying 2-2. Goals were scored by Tyler Botting and Joey Thompson with assists going to Drew Scott, Thompson and Kyle Foley. Danny Manning was steady between the pipes.

The Bulls outplayed Toronto in the third game winning 7-0. Goals were scored by Thompson (2; 1 unassisted), Moore, Pulver, Little (2) and Janson Mulder (unassisted/short-handed). Assists went to Garrett Sherry (2), Little (2), Moore, and Cassidy. Eric Wells was perfect in net picking up the shut-out.

In Tournament play the Bulls finished 14-4-5, winning two Championships and one Finalist.

The Bulls finished their regular season 14-10-3, and will know early next week who they will face in the first round of the play-offs.

The Carpet One Major Bantam AE Jr. Bulls lost 3-2 and 1-0 in a pair of games against Peterborough to end the regular season this week. Scoring for Belleville in game one was Joshua Leadbeater and Brennan Chesterton, both unassisted. Both Corey McMurter and Riley Sampson played tremendous in net in their respective games.

The McDougall Insurance Minor Midget A Bulls finished the season with three more wins. Belleville defeated Cobourg 3-1, on unassisted goals from Shawn Dinnery-Peeling and TJ McAlarey with Greg Massicotte adding a third, assisted by Dakota Mahar. Nick Nunn gets the win. The Bulls then faced Kingston winning 2-1 on goals from Cullen McGrath, assisted by Paul Buckley, and Cole Larsen, assisted by McGrath and Mahar. Brodie McGinnis was in net. Belleville defeated Pickering in their last game
of the season, winning 3-0. Nick Nunn was in net for the shut out. Scoring for the Bulls were Conrad Charlton (2), and Larsen. Assists to McAlarey, Charlton, McGrath and Devin McCann. McDougall Insurance MinorMidgets finished second in the Lakeshore division with 38 points on 18 wins 4 loses and 2 ties. Playoffs start this weekend versus Oshawa.

The International Truckload Services(ITS) Midget "A" Jr Bulls wrapped up their Lakeshore League this past weekend with a convincing 4-2 win over Whitby to finish tied for 4th place. The ITS Bulls got key scoring from David Lytle(2), Sam Chartrand and Dante Riganelli. Adam Finley, Riley Muise, Tyler Lobb and Tyler Diamond chipped in with assisits. Dylan Bouwers picked up the win in net.

The day before the Bulls headed to Uxbridge and came away with a tough 3-1 loss. Dylan Murray from Riganelli and Diamond was the only ITS goal. Andrw Gnagnarella was superb in the Belleville net.

Last week the ITS Bulls posted wins over Port Perry 6-4 on goals from Lytle(2), Murray(2) Jordan Cormier and Diamond. Assists went to Diamond(3), Evan Greer, Chartrand, Muise, Finley and Tyler Beer. Bouwers took the win.

Days before, the ITS Jr Bulls hammered the Pickering Panthers 11-1 . Bulls scoring came from Cormier(2G, 2A), Murray( 2G,1A), Riganelli(1G,2A), Diamond(3A), Mike Joyce(3A), Muise(2G,1A), Lytle(1G,2A), Greer(1G, 2A), Lobb(2A), Beer(2A), Chartrand( 1G), Finley(1G) and Brett Bateman(1A). Gnagnarella picked up the win.

The ITS Midget "A" Bulls now face Ajax in the 1st round of playoffs.
