Belleville Jr. Bulls Sweep all three Divisions of the 60th annual Shriners PeeWee Tournament..
The Tal Trees Minor Peewee A team would like to thank the Belleville Shriners and the BMHA volunteers for hosting the great 60th annual Belleville Shriners Peewee hockey tourney.

TalTrees completed the Belleville sweep of all three divisions with a convincing 6-1 victory on Sundayagainst the Osgoodeteam. A stellarteam effort contributed to the win with game MVP honours going to Brock Prescott for hissteadyeffort between thepipes. This wasthe teams 15thconsecutive win in tournament play and 3rd consecutive tournament championship of the season.Goals went to Jack Georke (2), Shaw Boomhower(2), Cam Clarke and Dylan Blake. Assistsgoing to Brayden White(2), Josh Burelle, Cam Clarke, Jack Georke, Shaw Boomhower,Brendan Fredericks and Jack Love.

Tal Trees opened the tournamentwith a5 -4 win over Quinte West. Game MVP honours going to Cam Clarke who had 2 goals, with goals also going to Matt Bennett, Jack Georke, and Shaw Boomhower. Assists: Josh Burelle(2),Justin Lewis, Brayden White and Shaw Boomhower. Nick Boutilierwas in net.

Game 2downing Vaughan 7-1. Game MVPwas Shaw Boomhowerwhohad the hat trick, with goals alsofor Tristan Nugent, Cam Clarke, Jack Georke and Dylan Blake. Helpers going to Jackson Cleave (3), Brayden White(2), Jake London, Justin Lewis, Jordan Stanfield, Jack Georke, and Josh Burelle. Brock Prescottearned the win.

Game 3 narrowly defeating Osgoode 3-2with the game MVP Tristan Nugent scoring the winner withtwo seconds remaining. Jake Love and Jack Georke also scored. Assists: Josh Burelle, Cam Clarke and Jack Georke. Goalie: Brock Prescott.

The final game of round robin play resulted in a 4-2victory over Valley East. Jake Love earned game MVP honours. Goals:Josh Burelle (2) including a short handed marker, Cam Clarke (short handed), and Jack Georke. Assists: Shaw Boomhower(2), Jackson Cleave, Jake Love, Justin Lewis and Jordan Stanfield. Nick Boutilier contributed a solid game in net.

The Belleville Minor Peewee AE Junior Bulls won the Minor Peewee AE division in the Shriners Tournament. The Junior Bulls opened with a sleepy 2-1 loss to the Kingston CAL Panthers. Lone goal scored by Johnathan LaMorre, helpers to Johnathan McDonald and Evan Foley. Evan Hill in net. Foley was named game MVP. Fortunately this was the only loss of the tournament. Later on Friday Belleville skated to a decisive 7-2 victory over the Kingston Canadians. Goals –Declan Cross (2), Logan Foeller, Evan Foley, Riley Connell, Evan Hoecht and William Keneford. Assists – Cross, Hoecht, Foley, Johnathan LaMorre, Logan Foeller, Damon Fair, Johnathan McDonald and Max Mercer. Zak Kelly in net for the win. William Keneford named game MVP. The Bulls continued Saturday with a 6-1 victory over East Gwillimbury. Goals – Tristan Cowan (3), William Keneford, Riley Bonin and Max Mercer. Assists – Cowan, Keneford, Logan Foeller (2), Evan Hoecht, Joe Clarey and Damon Fair. Evan Hill in net for the win. Tristan Cowan named game MVP. Belleville completed round robin play and qualified for the A final with a tightly fought 1-0 win over Kanata. Lone goal scored by Declan Cross with helpers to Wyatt Brauer and Joe Clarey. Zak Kelly earned the shutout. Damon Fair named game MVP. In the A finals the Junior Bulls faced a rematch against the Kingston CAL Panthers and came out on top with a 4-1 victory to take first place in the tournament. Goals – William Keneford (2), Wyatt Brauer, and Tristan Cowan. Assists – Cowan (3), Keneford and Evan Hoecht. Evan Hill in net to seal the victory. William Keneford named game MVP.

The Carpet One Tyke Jr Bulls met in Wellington Tuesday night for a match against the Novice PEC Kings, the Jr Bulls fell to the Kings with a score of 8-2. Scoring the 2 goals in the third were Dakota Degenova

and Riley St Pierre with an unassisted short handed goal. Helpers went to Tess Rushlow and Riley St Pierre. Goaltenders Scott Fleming and Ethan Fraser with many solid saves. The Tykes will nowrest until Sunday

where they will host North Frontenac at home at the Memorial Arena.

Sunday the Carpet One Tykes met with the toughest team in the league North Frontenac, the Jr Bulls were down 3 players and it showed on the scoreboard, they had a tough loss of 12-0. Sharing the net for the tykes

was Ethan Fraser and Scott Fleming.

 

On Saturday 12 Dec/09 the Ray Bros Construction Minor Atom AE Jr Bulls team met in Whitby losing a tough battle 8-2.

Goals scored by Carson Waite and Fraser Moodie. Assist going to Gavin McQuaid.

 

 

 

On Sunday 13 Dec/09 the Ray Bros Construction Minor Atom AE Jr Bulls team hosted Pickering in a great team effort tying 2-2. Goals scored by Nickolas Rittwage and Fraser Moodie. Assists going to Tyler Gordon and Joshua Kyte.

 

The Four Season Sports Minor Atom 'A' team traveled to Uxbridge on Saturday and played a strong game winning 7 to 3. Cole St. Pierre, Braydan Forestell, Regan Fleming, Will Bardwell andBen Trumpourall tallied in the win with Devin Roach, Trumpour, St. Pierre, Rorey Kehoe and Owen Dever earning assists. On Sunday the Jr. Bulls played an exhibition game against Kingston. The team played hard, butwasdefeated10 to 8. Braydan Forestell had a hat trick in the loss with St. Pierre, Theo Citrullo, and Owen Dever also scoring. Assists went to Dever, St. Pierre, Mark Mulder, Forestell, Fleming, Ryan Milligan, Angelo Brown and Bardwell

The Carpet One Major Bantam AE Jr. Bulls Georgina Tournament Results:
Game 1, a 6-3 loss to Markham Friday Night. Scoring for Belleville was Connor Stone (2) and Brennan Chesterton, with assists going to Mike Evans, Connor Stone and Riley Sampson.. Riley Sampson played strong in net for Belleville despite the loss.
Game 2, a 4-1 loss to Georgina Saturday Morning. Scoring for Belleville was Connor Stone, with assists going to Luc Lentini and Patrick Shannon. Corey McMurter played excellent in net having to face a 30-8 shot advantage by the opposition
Game 3, a 3-2 loss to East Gwillimbury Saturday Night. Scoring for Belleville was Kurt Grav Graham and Mike Evans, with assists going to Mike Evans and Ben Butcher. Riley Sampson played another strong game for Belleville.


The Wilson Sports Minor Bantam played three games this week and lost them all. The first game was against the first place Uxbridge Stars. Uxbridge out played,out worked and out skated the Bulls and ran away with a 6-0 win. Eric Wells took the loss.

In the second game Oshawa out hustled the boys and skated away with a 6-2 victory. Scoring for the Bulls was Joey Thompson (2),assist going to Janson Mulder,Evan Cleave and Colin Moore(2). Danny Manning suffered the loss.

In the final game the Bulls went back and forth with the Trenton Golden Hawks but came up on the short end losing 5-3 with the fifth goal being an empty netter. Bulls goals were scored byThompson, Drew Scott and Kyle Foley, assists were by Scott,Foley,Thompson,Cleave and Jarrod Pulver(2). Wells took the loss.

The McDougall Insurance Minor Midget A Bulls added a tie and a win to their stats this week. The team traveled to Whitby earlier in the week for a close-matched 4-4 tie. Scoring for the Bulls were Mitchell Smith, Paul Buckley and TJ McAlarey (2). Assists to Daniel London, Devin McCann, Cullen McGrath, Jared Boomhower, Smith and Buckley. Nick Nunn gave a great effort in net. Belleville slayed Uxbridge on the weekend to a resounding 11-1 victory. Hat tricks were offered up by both Buckley

and McAlarey with Smith adding two, and singles contributed by Dakota

Mahar, McCann and Boomhower. Racking up the many assists in this game

were McGrath (3), Matt McDougall (4), McAlarey (2), Smith (3), Mitch Goodfellow (2), Greg Massicotte, Buckley and Mahar. Goalied Brodie McGinnis gets the win. The Bulls record is now 12-3-2.
