The
McDougall Insurance Minor Midget A Bulls
captured their second tournament win in 2 weeks! Game 1 saw Belleville defeat Kingston 4-0 on
goals from TJ McAlarey, Jared Boomhower (2) and Mitchell Smith. Assists from Devin McCann, Conrad Charlton,
Greg Massicotte and Smith (2).
Brody
McGinnis was in net for the shutout. In
Game 2 the Bulls were defeated 1-0 by Stouffville. Nick Nunn was in net. Game 3 saw Belleville beat CAL in a 2-0 win
with McGinnins getting his second shutout for the weekend. Scoring for the Bulls were Boomhower and
McAlarey assisted by Dakota Mahar, Smith and McCann. The semifinal saw Kanata and Belleville
battling it out. Kanata scored early but
the Bulls came back to tie it 1-1 on a goal from Matt McDougall assisted by
Smith and Derek Stoliker. McCann and
McAlarey scored in a double shootout to triumph over the Blazers. Nick Nunn was superb in net for
Belleville. The final was a rematch
between the Belleville Bulls and the Stouffville Clippers. The Bulls emerged victorious winning 4-2 on a
hat trick from Paul Buckley and one from Smith. Assisting were Cullen McGrath,
McDougall, Mahar, Buckley and McAlarey. McGinnis gave another solid performance
in net for the win.

The Wilson Sport Bantam Major
AJr. Bulls travelled to Kingston over the weekend to compete in the
Kingston Tournament and came home with the Championship.On Friday afternoon the
Bulls played against Oakville, and tied 1-1. Connor Cassidyscored
unassistedfor the Bulls. In net for the tie was Danny Manning.Friday
evening the Bulls faced Cooksville. In a penalty filled game the Bulls were
downed 2-0. Eric Wells was in net for the loss.
Saturday afternoon found the
Bulls in their final round robin game against Cal. The Bulls played hard and
came out on top with a 2-0 score. Scoring for the Bulls were Connor Cassidy
unassisted and Cassidy again assisted by Tyler Botting and Janson Mulder.
Danny Manning was perfect in net stopping seven of seven.In the semi-final game
the Bulls faced Cooksville again, but this time the Bulls came out on top with
a 3-0 win. Jarrod Pulver unassisted, Garrett Sherry assisted by Joey Thompson,
and Kyle Foley assisted by Thompson and Sherry. Eric Wells was perfect in net
stopping twelveshots for the shut out.
The final game
sawBelleville playing Oakville. In aphysical game the Bulls
came out on top with a 2-1 victory. Scoring for the Bulls were Foley andThompson.
Assists went to Pulver, Mulder, Foley and Cassidy. Danny Manning was
spectacular in the net.Coaching staff were impressed with the entire teams
defensive efforts giving up only four goals in five games. Great job boys!!!

The Carpet One TykeMajor Jr
Bulls were on the road again this Saturday, they travelled to Bancroft to
battle the Jets and were on thelosing end of a 10-4 scoreboard.
Postinggoals for the Jr Bulls were Joe Bardwell 2, Riley StPierre,
and Griffin Leveque, providing the assists were Leveque, Bardwell, Mack
Morrish and Brett Foley. Sharing the netwere Scott Fleming and
Ethan Fraser.Sunday the Tykes were host at home with North Frontenac and
suffered a tough loss11-1. Scoring the loan goal for the Bulls
wasMack Morrish, with assists from Damian Hallam and Brett Foley. Ethan
Fraser and Scott Fleming sharing the net for the Tykes.

Cogeco Novice A Jr. Bulls travelled to Midland for the Central/West Regional
Silver Stick qualifier this past weekend.
They met some stiff competition and, although they played well, they did
not advance beyond the round-robin portion of the tournament.
In the
opener, New Hamburg beat the Jr. Bulls 3-1. Kyle Scruby scored for Belleville,
and despite coming very close, Belleville could not
tie the
game. New Hamburg scored an insurance
goal with 35 seconds
remaining to
seal the victory.Charlie Archer was between the pipes for Belleville and made
some key saves.
In the
second game, Belleville met an outmatched Lindsay team and came away with a
13-0 win. The Jr. Bulls got goals from
Daniel Panetta, with the hat-trick; Landon McLellan, Liam Lochhead, and Willie
Richards with a pair each; and Eric Conlon, James Queen, Cameron Supryka, and
Zach Uens with singles. Assists went to
Richards (3), Queen (3), Uens (3), Cole Leal (2), McLellan, Matthew Birchard,
Supryka, Colby Crowe, and Josh Verbeek.
Jackson Bonn wasn't tested often
in net, but emerged with the shutout.
In the third
game, Belleville needed a win to advance to the semi- finals, but it wasn't
meant to be as they dropped a 1-0 heartbreaker to eventual tourney champions,
Centre Wellington. The boys gave it
everything they had, but a third period power play goal by Centre Wellington proved
insurmountable. Charlie Archer played a
strong game net for the Jr. Bulls, who very ably represented Belleville in this
prestigious tournament.
The Four Seasons Sports Minor
Atom 'A' team earned a pair of wins at homewith victories over Cobourg and
Pickering.Theplayers exhibitedgood
passing,hustle and teamwork. Solid goaltending was provided by Issac
Bridges and Ryan Rushlow.Goals were scored by Owen Dever, Braydan
Forestell, Ben Trumpour, Regan Fleming, Theo Citrullo. Ryan Milligan, Angelo Brown,
Cole St. Pierre and Rorey Kehoe. Assists were earned by A. Brown, St.
Pierre, Milligan, Kehoe, Will Bardwell, Trumpour, Fleming, Parker Brown,
Citrullo, Dever, Devin Roach andForestell.
The Parkside Landscaping Major
Atom A Jr. Bulls lost 6-5 against Quinte Westin Frankford onFriday
night. The Jr. Bulls were down by 6-2 at the end of the second
period.They came back strong in the third period with 3 goals but
it was not enough to get a tie. Scoring for theBulls was Nick
Bartlett, Ben Smith, Cole King, and Spencer Goodfellow (2). Assists went
to Wyatt Brennan, Josh Love, Riley McMillan, Jake Hale-Sanders, Smith, and Cam
Hale-Sanders.The Jr. Bulls reboundedon Sunday with a 3-2 home
ice victoryover the Oshawa Generals. On his birthday,Rylan
Levean lead the scoring with two goalsand Jack Belanger with a single
goal.Assistswent toWyatt Brennan, Josh Love, Belanger,
and Cam Hale-Sanders.
On Saturday
the Ray Bros Construction Minor Atom AE Jr Bulls team hosted Peterborough in a
tough match losing 5-2.
Goals scored
by Carson Waite and Kaylen MacCormack, Assists to Nickolas Rittwage, Brady
Potter, and Joshua Kyte.
On Sunday
the Ray Bros Construction Minor Atom AE Jr Bulls team hosted Napanee in an
exhibition game. Although the boys
fought hard, they were defeated 5-3.
Goals scored by Brady Potter, Nickolas Rittwage, and Carson Waite. Assists to Kaylen MacCormack, William
Arsenault, and Ethan Green.
The First On Site Restoration Minor Peewee AE Junior
Bulls had a light weekend with only one game, a 4-1 home win over Uxbridge.
Goals – Johnathan LaMorre (2), Evan Foley and Wyatt Brauer. Assists – Foley
(2), William Keneford (2), Declan Cross, Riley Bonin, Reilly Connell and
Johnathan McDonald. Zak Kelly was solid in net for the win.
The Tal Trees Minor Peewee A team continued their strong
play of late winning 2 of 3 games. Travelling to Clarington and coming up just
short in a 3-2 loss. Goal scorers: Shaw Boomhower, Jack Georke. Assists:
Brayden White, Cam Clarke,and Josh Burelle. Goalie: Brock Prescott.
Hosting the first place Cobourgclub and coming out on top 4-2 in a very
entertaining game. Brock Prescott wasstrong between the pipes for the
win. Scoringfrom Tristan Nugent (2), Jack Georke, and Josh Burelle.
Helpers going to Jake Love(2),Dylan Blake(2), Josh Burelle,Jackson Cleave, Aaron
Wells, and Jake London.
Playing in Kingston tofinish offthe weekend winning 13-0. Posting
the shut out was Nick Boutilier. Goals: Jake Love (3), Tristan Nugent(2), Jack
Georke (2), Shaw Boomhower(2),Jackson Cleave, Dylan Blake, Cam Clarke, and
Brendan Fredericks. Assists: Brayden White (2), Jack Georke(2), Aaron Wells,
Jake London, Josh Burelle,and Jackson Cleave.
The Carpet One Major Bantam AE Jr.
Bulls played a nail biter scoring in the last 19 seconds to win 1-0 in Port
Perry on Friday Night. Scoring for Belleville was Cameron Bell, with assists
going to Nick Eliopoulos. Riley Sampson played strong in net to earn Belleville
its first shutout of the regular season.
The Carpet One Major Bantam AE Jr.
Bulls played Port Perry again on Sunday in a well fought battle but ended up
losing 5-3 at the Wally Dever Arena. Scoring for Belleville was Patrick
Shannon, Brennan Chesterton and Ben Butcher, with assists going to Luc Lentini
(2), Timothy McMillan, Colin MacLaurin, Brycen Thompson and Nick Eliopoulos.
Corey McMurter played well in net despite the loss.
