The Belleville Bulls and Quinte West Hawks are tied at two games apiece in their best of 7 league championship series after the Bulls pulled out a 3-2 game 4 victory on Sunday. Tanner Jones potted a pair for the Bulls while Carter Russett also found the back of the net in the win. Tom Simpson picked up an assist in the win. The Bulls dropped Game 2 in Belleville, 1-0 and Game 3 in Trenton, 4-1. Maguire Shortt scored the only goal in Game 3 with assists going to Nate Burelle and Trot Davis.

The Belleville Novice A Jr. Bulls sent Uxbridge home seeing stars with a thrilling 3-2 Game Five series clinching victory on Sunday. Nate Burrelle, Lucas Culhane and Daniel Michaud scored the Belleville goals while Dylan Bailey, Tanner Jones and Kait McNair picked up the helpers. Dixon Grimes picked up the win between the pipes. The number two seed Bulls now face regular season champion Quinte West Hawks. Good luck Bulls!

The Belleville Mix 97/Studio DK Hair Design and Day Spa Novice A Jr. Bulls needed a dramatic comeback from a 2-0 hole with three minutes remaining to pick up a 2-2 tie in Game Three of the OMHA semi-final playoffs against the Uxbridge Stars. Nate Burelle and Nate Huffman potted the goals for the Bulls to allow the team to head back to Uxbridge tied at 3 points apiece. Dylan Bailey, Tanner Jones and Lucas Culhane picked up assists for the Bulls. Dixon Grimes was steady between the pipes for the Bulls.

Dylan Bailey potted the other Belleville goal after he crashed the net and pounced on a Nate Burelle rebound. Mikey Verbeek and James Richards also picked up assists in the win. Defencemen Kait McNair, Carter Russett, Nate Huffman, Maguire Shortt, Finn Addy and Richards were outstanding in front of Lucas in the win. The Bulls now lead the series five points to three.
