OMHA Annual General Meeting Goes This Weekend

Come out to the OMHA Annual General Meeting this weekend [June 10 & 11] to check out the Hometown Hockey Consumer Show, Parade of Champions, and OMHA Golf Classic.

For over 60 years the Ontario Minor Hockey Association [OMHA] has hosted their Annual General Meeting [AGM] to conduct the business of the Association. The OMHA Annual General Meeting is the largest gathering of minor hockey administrators in the world [average 1,000]. Over 100 OMHA Championship teams [approximately 3,500 players, coaches, trainers, friends and family] are invited to the Parade of Champions to be presented their championship banners. With media coverage and consumer show exhibitors in attendance, there are approximately 4,500 people expected to attend this two-day event!

The event takes place at the Sheraton Parkway Hotel North on Highway 7 in Richmond Hill. The Hometown Hockey Consumer Show will be open on Friday, June 11 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and on Saturday, June 12 from 7:30am until 3:30pm. The Parade of Champions goes at 11:00am on Saturday and the Golf Classic kicks off on Friday morning.

Hometown Hockey Consumer Show June 10th & 11th

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association [OMHA] is hosting its annual Consumer Show this June. The event takes place at the Sheraton Parkway Hotel North on Highway 7 in Richmond Hill. The show will be open on Friday, June 10 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and on Saturday, June 11 from 7:30am until 3:30pm.

The OMHA Hometown Hockey Consumer Show features nearly 60 exhibitors showcasing and selling their products. Exhibitors range from Hockey Equipment Manufacturers to Fundraisers to Accommodation Providers. There will also be interactive games and prizes. Admission is free and the show is open to the general public.

Canadian Hockey Enterprises Presents Summer Hockey Camps

Canadian Hockey Enterprises 24th Annual Summer Hockey camps are being held in July and August 2011 in Peterborough, Ontario. Innovative Specialized Camps for Boys and Girls ages 4-18 years old, House League to All-Star.

Camps include Junior/College Bantam/Midget, Elite AAA/AA/A, All-Star, Goalie, Fundamental, Stickhandling, Acceleration Power Skating, Checking and Just for Girls programs.
