Presentations by the OMHA, OHL and OUA on their respective programs, scholarships, the OHL Priority Selection and opportunities within hockey

. Tom Bly, OMHA: Topics include OMHA programs and opportunities in minor hockey
. Kyle Raftis, OHL: Topics include OHL information, Education Package and OHL Priority Selection
. Samantha Magalas, OUA: Topics include Athletic Scholarships and Campus life
. Murray Nystrom [Head Coach Brock Badgers]: topic is University hockey and scholarships
. Derek Brochu, Brock Badgers Captain, Owen Sound Attack/Guelph Storm, Welland MHA Grad: Topic is career path through minor hockey to the OHL and now OUA from a player's perspective.
. Scott [Kevin] Russell [Russell Sports Management]: topic is careers in sports
. Paul Folkes [parent]: topic is the differences between NCAA and OUA from a parent's perspective

The presentation will take approximately two hours and is by invite only.

About the OMHA AAA Showcase
The OMHA AAA Showcase features all ten Minor Midget AAA teams from the SCTA League competing during regular season play. This event will showcase the highest level of OMHA Minor Midget hockey players in a safe and fair event that will feature educational information for players and parents. Partners include Ontario University Athletics [OUA], Ontario Hockey League [OHL], Brock University, Under Armour, City of Barrie, Pro Hockey Life and Rogers TV.

Hamilton, ON - Ontario University Athletics [OUA], in partnership with the Hamilton Bulldogs, is pleased to announce the inaugural OUA Outdoor Classic, featuring two games to be played as part of the 2012 AHL Outdoor Classic, presented by Molson Canadian and Boston Pizza.

Ivor Wynne Stadium will play host to the Waterloo Warriors as they take on the Brock Badgers on Sunday, January 22 at 1 p.m. OUA women's hockey will also be showcased as the UOIT Ridgebacks host the Brock Badgers to kick off OUA Outdoor Classic action on Thursday, January 19 at 3 p.m. Pioneer Energy is an official sponsor of the OUA Outdoor Classic. Harrow Sports Canada, official supplier and supporter of OUA hockey, will present Player of the Game honours.

Come cheer on OMHA players from Niagara Falls and Hamilton area as they participate in the intermission activities.
