GOLF DAY FUNDRAISER

On Saturday October 1 the team held a scramble tournament at the Bay of Quinte Golf and Country Club. Although the weather was not the best on this day, 60 golfers attended to help benefit the team with one of our many fundraising activities.

 A Silent auction table, card games, other events and donated prizes from team parents and local businesses that they approached, made it a spirited event for everyone who attended.

 Special thanks to parent volunteers Gina, Kathleen, Angela, Gary and Jay for your on the course counseling and spirit while the players endured the weather. Sharon and Joe for your on the course, on the putting green and in the club house help. Club Pro Kevin Latye was also very helpful with organizing the event and helping out on the Beat the Pro Hole (although a few golfers beat him).
