The team competed in the Lloyd Hillier Memorial Tournament in Etobicoke this past weekend and captured the Championship trophy!

In exhibition play this past weekend the Jones DesLaurier IMI Bantam Select lost to the Ajax Knights but not without putting up a good fight first. Scoreless in the first period, the Jr. Bulls bounced back to tie it up in the 2nd. Goals were scored by Austin Hamilton, Brett Park and Aiden Compeau with assists going to Beau Tolls, Nick MacDonald, Brady Wells and Matt Smith. Losing in the 3rd the Jr. Bulls are to be commended for improving their record against Ajax. Goal tending duties were shared by Dylan Butler and Nick Boutilier. Next game on the road to Kingston March 7th.

'The Jones DesLaurier IMI Belleville Jr Bulls Bantam Select win final at the Oshawa Heritage Hockey Tournament over the weekend. In round robin play Belleville suffered a first game loss to Ajax Knights 4-1. Lone goal scored by Beau Tolls assisted by Jarrod Hannah. Game 2 against Brampton Snipers ended in 1-1 tie, Beau Tolls scoring in the 3rd with 49 seconds left on the clock, assisted by Jarrod Hannah. Game 3 was a win for Belleville against the Mooretown Storm 5-2. Goals were scored by Beau Tolls, Matt Smith, Brett Park (2), and Nick MacDonald. Assists went to Mitchell Barlow, Tolls, and MacDonald. In the winning final Belleville beat Noble King 4-1. Goals were scored by Beau Tolls (3 for a hat trick), and Austin Hamilton. Assists went to Barlow, Reilly Connell and Riley Hannigan. Both goaltenders Nick Boutlier and Dylan Butler were outstanding all weekend

'In tournament action this past weekend the Jones DesLaurier IMI Belleville Jr Bulls Bantam Select teams travelled to Scarborough for the Don Montgomery Memorial Hockey Tournament. Game one Belleville lost to Kingston Canadians 5-0. Game two Belleville handily defeated Scarborough  10 - 0. Goals were scored by:  Beau Tolls(3), Nick MacDonald (2), Brett Park(2), Brady Wells(2), and Josh Dunn. Assists went to Park (2), Riley Hannigan (3), Tolls (2), Wells, Matt Smith(2), David Nurse, Reilly Connell, Dunn, Mitchell Barlow(2), Austin Hamilton. In Goal for the win was MacGregor Allin. Game 3 challenged Belleville against East York coming out with a 5-2 loss. Goals were scored by Brady Wells and Matt Smith with assists to Smith and Jarrod Hannah. Goal tending duties were split by Dylan Butler and MacGregor Allin. Also on strong defence were Liam McCormack and Aiden Compeau.'

In Exhibition Game action this past weekend, the Jones DesLaurier IMI Bantam Select hosted Kingston Canadiens. Despite a lead by Belleville in the first 2 periods, came out with a 4-4 tie with Kingston. Goals were scored by Brett Park(2), Austin Hamilton, and Beau Tolls. Assists from Matt Smith, Riley Hannigan(2), Mitchell Barlow, Austin Hamilton, and Beau Tolls. Net minding duties were shared by Dylan Butler and Nick Boutilier for the tie. Travelling to Oshawa, the Jones DesLaurier IMI Bantam Select improved their record with a 6 -2 win over the Oshawa (OCHL) Hawks. Goals were scored by Nick MacDonald, Mitchell Barlow(2), Matt Smith, Riley Hannigan, and Beau Tolls. Assists from Brady Wells, Josh Dunn, Beau Tolls, Brett Park and Jarrod Hannah.  Dylan Butler was in goal for the win.
